Idk what other people are listening to in order to leave these good reviews. These speakers sound terrible. I got these to replace the speakers in the sub bar of my e38 via recommendations from A LOT of people. Trash. I can't wait to put a real sub in the car. Maybe build an enclosure to replace the stock one. I'm passed the huge sub box in the truck. 15 years ago, maybe. Lol. Anyway, I don't recommend these to replace subs in the sub bar of e38s. Maybe door speakers, but def not the sub bar.

Had to modify cabinet to seat/fit speakers into the enclosure. Well worth the effort. They sound as good or maybe better than the originals in my JBL shelfspeakers..

I bought these woofers to replace the woofers in my Infinity Reference E-L speakers that I use for my back-channels. Decent sound. I had to crimp the connectors on the terminals.

Ordered these, instead of 5.25" I got 5" speakers. They look pretty, but the sound isn't anything to write home about. Sound worse than the speakers I replaced, outside of the fact the old ones were blown out.I had some other $17 speakers that don't fit - that sounded better. They were also smaller.So these are OK. I'd say they are worth less than $20 for the pair though, based on sound quality.But since my replacement project is done, I don't feel like ripping it apart to return.
