This was the only base I found that and the right measurement available for the wet snake specimen I got. Looks good holding the little green guy too.

I was looking for a nice sphere holder. I wanted one that would securely hold the crystal, not one where the sphere casually sat upon it and still had the possibility of rolling off. This is a wonderful stand. My crystal sphere sits deep enough to be very secure and yet not be visually compromised by sitting too low in the stand. The stand itself is very nice. I purchased the rosewood. Beautiful color, nicely carved and complements the sphere.

I bought this stand for a very large quartz crystal ball/sphere with 6.9" diameter and weighing almost 16 lbs. This display stand is not only beautiful and of exceptional quality, it is very sturdy and holds the crystal firmly and securely in place. It was worth every penny.

I purchased the 6.5" inside diameter version. It looks exactly like the listing (a bright glossy redish brown) and came in perfect condition. It's displaying a 48lb 10" diameter sphere and I don't feel it's in any danger of rolling off. I honestly think it's perfect. I believe the size down would have held the sphere securely enough, but it would have been mostly hidden by the ball as well. Very happy with how it turned out.

Recently ordered two of these stands....and am so pleased!Alot of these stands are not finished very nicely, but these are absolutelybeautiful. The wood is very smooth with a very nice color and finish. Easily theprettiest I've seen!

It's a really pretty piece of art, nice color, but I had to return it, because it was too small for the vase that I was using..
