We plan to do a lot of camping this summer and I am tired of air mattresses. I wanted to test out this cot and I am pretty impressed. It's fairly easy to assemble and the fact that it has a storage bag for easy transport is nice. I like that it can be two different levels, lower to the ground or a bit higher. It's easy to fold up and pack away. I can't wait to use this.

I order the standard and extended leg Gonex Cots. Extended leg model is much preferred for my application on the floor inside an RV. The reason for this is it raises my body above the height of the heating vent. It is no harder to pack or carry. Other than that they are equal in quality and craftsmanship.

A few weeks ago, my sleeping arrangements were unexpectedly altered when my son was unwell and needed extra comfort in our bed. Rather than resorting to a night on the floor, I set up this portable sleeping surface. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. The raised height was a welcome change, keeping me off the cold ground, and I slept much better than anticipated. For example, I was able to keep my phone in the side pocket, which was incredibly convenient. Setup and disassembly were also remarkably quick, taking only a minute or two. It was a good solution for an unexpected sleeping situation.

The overall quality of the product is good. All the parts fit perfectly and the assembly (the first time out of the box) took about 11 minutes as I fumbled my way through the assembly. But now I know how to assemble the cot, it will take half that time to assemble. The assembly parts looked finished and there were no visible imperfections or loose threads. The assembled cot is very comfortable to sit or to sleep on. I also like the side pockets, the bottom storage net, and the loops to hang items off the cot when camping. HOWEVER, the weight of the cot is rather heavy if I were to bring this cot to a hike. The cot by itself weighs about 8 pounds, which is too heavy to carry on a hike, but this cot perfect for car camping or RVing. Overall, this cot is a well made, quality and comfortable camping cot, that is easy to assemble and breakdown. Just have to watch the weight!

First off, it does folds up really small, but I would say too large for backpacking. The leg extender thing is genius, you can have it low to the ground, or pop in the extenders and it's higher up, which makes getting in and out way easier. It say it holds up to 350 pounds, and it feels really sturdy when you're on it. It's definitely comfier than sleeping on the ground, would be great for camping, the beach, or even just as an extra bed at home. It's about 75 inches long and 27 wide, so plenty of room to stretch out. Recommended

One of my rare five star reviews, this bed ticks all the boxes for me. I have another one to compare it with and this is a clear winner. Height is good and there is a strong feeling of stability when in use. Yes it is a little heavier than some but the quality you get is worth the extra weight. A couple of nice pouches and a nice large one that will take your pillow and keep it in place. It does take a bit of muscle to close the clamps but i expect this to be easier when the newness wears off.

This is a good cot! Way to bulky for backpacking, but perfect for car camping with a tent. I had one similar, but it was honestly a PITA to put together. This one is not at all. Slide in the two side poles, put the shock corded cross bars together, and then clamp them onto the side poles. Be very careful clamping them on! They are very strong and could end up really pinching your hand if you aren't careful. I haven't had an issue, but it does require good hand strength and a bit of caution. You can use this with or without the legs if you want. The best part for me are the storage pockets! It has a mesh bag underneath, which is perfect for holding your clothes for the next day and keeping them off the ground. It has a side flap with pockets for your phone, or flashlight, or in my case glasses! Way better than leaving them on the floor and hoping they don't get broken. On the other side from the pockets is a sewn on daisy chain to hang other gear and items you might need. It also comes with a pillow if you forget your better camping pillow at home. When I saw the price I didn't think this would be worth it, but now that I have it I think it is. It is comfortable and well thought out and I can recommend it. I'm really happy with it!
