Your cart is empty.The Meinl Sonic Energy Gong Resonant Mallet is not your standard mallet, but a specially formulated rubber ball that you drag along the surface of any gong to produce harmonics not achievable with regular mallets or beaters. The haunting overtones and harmonics produced are similar to whale singing, and this sonic effect has a powerful relaxing feeling that makes it easy to enter a state of meditation or to just help unwind. This specially formulated, medium rubber mallet head measures 1.2"/30 mm in diameter and produces a medium pitch between all Meinl Sonic Energy Gong Resonant Mallets (the pitch goes lower as the mallet head size gets bigger). It works with any gong size or surface type. Ideal for meditation, yoga or sound healing therapy, we designed this mallet for gong sound baths in small or large spaces, and it's great to use when meditating or creating atmosphere at yoga sessions. A benefit outside of sound immersion/sonic healing is that you can use this resonant mallet on gongs for music production or recording haunting sound effects on gongs for film scores.
