This was too heavy for my Cockapoo. Gave it to my granddog, a chunky Corgi. She loves it and it’s going to last for a while.

Sturdy yet won't hurt their mouth or teeth! Long lasting fun for your dog who loves to play frisbee.

It was so heavy for my dog it did not throw good and was hard for her to pick up

This is made of thick, strong rubber so it withstands a lot of biting. However, because it is heavy, it won't throw very far, but since my yard isn't very large this is perfect. My dog also destroyed his first three frisbees in a couple of days and this one has survived more than a month.

We have an 8 month old Australian Cattle dog/Brittany mix. She has destroyed every toy that we've gotten her from hours to a week. This is the first toy she loves and hasn't destroyed. I love the hand holes that allows tug play and she likes to grab the center. It's heavier and doesn't fly as far, but I will take that over the other discs that don't last a week. If you have a dog that's a heavy chewer, I recommend this highly.

My Dutch shepherd puppy loves to chew, fetch, play tug, and shake toys to death. This toy accomplishes ALL those things. It is her favorite. She's had it a month and plays with it for hours daily and other than a few teeth marks it still looks new. I was having a hard time finding something hard enough for her to chew but not too hard because she still had puppy teeth (they've since fallen out). This toy has been perfect for that. I get nothing for this review. I had such a hard time finding toys that would hold up to my dutchie that I had to share. I will buy again if she ever manages to destroy it or more likely lose it in the backyard. Actually, I might go ahead and purchase a back up...for when we can't find the 'red whirly do'.

My dog loves to play frisbee, but gets a little chompy when he's excited, so any kind of hard plastic frisbee gets destroyed pretty much immediately. Most of the alternative materials I've tried have been too heavy or floppy to fly very well, or too flimsy to stand up to the chomping. This one is pretty perfect though. There's a thicker rim around the outside to give it structure so it flies well. The center part of the disc is thinner, so it's not too heavy, but it's thick enough to resist punctures by dog teeth. These things are all hard to tell from photos, but if you have a chompy dog and want a frisbee that actually flies, you could do much worse than this one.Update: the day after I wrote this he tore a big hole in it. I wasn't present for it, so it may have been user error, but be advised that the material isn't invincible. It still flies for now though because the rim is still intact, and I still like the way it flies.

This is a pretty nice frisbee and was easy to throw and easy for my dog's to catch. Unfortunately it didn't last as long as I would have hoped. After 1 month there was a large rip down the center of it, so I had to toss it.
