Update: Board failed after 6months.Blower wouldn't turn off and burning plastic smell fill the house. Check on the internet and this board would be main culprit for this problem. Ordered Saturday, shipped Monday and received Tuesday. It was a local shipping from Montreal to Laval but still I am happy with shipping and now I can sleep again without shutting off furnace every couple of hours to save the blower.

One day there was a strange burnt smell coming through our air ducts that lasted around 10 minutes. Then the blower fan would not turn off unless I killed the power at the circuit panel. Called for service and they wanted over $500 to replace part. Turned out the relay got fried and we needed this part. So happy we took a chance and tried this ourselves. The only part we had to buy elsewhere was the wire connector so we could cut off old burnt wire and reconnect. It was easy- First flip circuit breaker to kill power then before swapping take a picture and disconnect one wire at a time and connect to new board one at a time. Before flipping on power double check your connections with your picture.

This board was exactly what I needed to fix my air handler. My Ecobee sent me an alert that my equipment may be malfunctioning as the A/C had been called to run for 2 hours and the temperature had increased by 2 degrees. The fan was not turning off and even ran continuously with the thermostat removed. after some searching around for causes, it became clear that the fan relay was likely faulty. Upon closer inspection of my blower control board I discovered that the relay's black plastic case had a large melted blister on the outside.I found this part and checked that the part number and connections all matched up. With prime shipping I ordered the part. Within 10 minutes of it arriving, I had installed it into my air handler, and had my A/C back up and working. Probably saved myself a couple hundred dollars from a professional house call.HVAC wiring is fairly straightforward, however, if you do not have a basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics you should consider hiring a professional. Replacing this board requires opening your air handler and handling circuits that, when energised, carry 240 volts AC that will easily kill you.

I ordered this board after the indoor fan on my AC unit would not stop blowing regardless of what adjustments I made to the thermostat. I did a little bit of research online and discovered that a stuck fan relay (located on the board) was the most likely culprit so I quickly ordered the board. It arrived two days later and I installed it in less than an hour. Now my AC has resumed normal operation.

This is a top quality replacement board for my Goodman model Air Handler.I was a little upset that it came with no documentation, however, it was easy to find videos online to see how to install it.It was a 30 to 45 minute install and it solved the problem with my fan not coming on.To be certain all power was off to the unit, I turned off the thermostat and circuit breaker to the air handler, removed the cover, pulled out the fuse block. My unit did not have a Fan Blower Control Board, but had the old solenoid model.The video I watched showed exactly where to remove the wires from the old relay and plug them into the new Fan Blower Control Board. Once complete, I snapped the board into the pre drilled mounting holes on my unit, plugged the fuse block back in, turned on the circuit breaker and adjusted the thermostat. The outside condensing unit came on and shortly after my fan came on. Once the temperature was achieved, the fan shut off, after the outside unit was off for a short time. All works perfect. I saved 100s of $$ with this little replacement Fan Blower Control Board . So if you are a Do It Yourself person, and have an issue with your Goodman Air Handler fan not coming on, this may be the fix you need.

Thanks as advertised direct replacement. Purchased this for my daughters a/c after she had local hvac company come out and check for high power usage over $500 for the month. They added some Freon and charged her over $700. Said no problem with a/c. She received her next power bill over $900. After that I checked it found heating strips staying on all the time. Under 25 bucks for the fix. So if you live in the Phoenix area don’t use the company that says they won’t send any Melvin’s to check your a/c.

After a year of changing out the wrong components on my heat pump, I found out the component I needed was no longer available or manufactured by anyone. This was the replacement. Well, this is not for any old handy man, if you aren't electrically inclined, don't get into this project. However, if this is a direct replacement for what you have, knock yourself out. My experience was a little different. I was going to pay $500 to have someone else do this had I not known how to do it.This board did exactly what I needed it to do and it has performed beautifully!
