I installed this belt onto my stump grinder as a replacement for my Gates brand belt that lasted me about 4 years. The coggs of this belt tore off the 1st time I used it. The belt didnt snap but the inner teeth/coggs seperated from the belt itself and game off in pieces. This was not a mechanical error as there was nothing wrong with the machine and was further verified when I put another Gates belt on it with out making any changes and it has been running fine for month. Either I got a defective belt or this is just very poor quality.
