They are really well made and packaged, but the hole is not 1” I had to drill them not a big deal if you have equipment to do it.

They are beefy, precision cut and easy to weld! Yes you need to pre-heat them to get a good solid weld with penetration but non the less a great value for what you get! Worth every penny.

Built my own Jeep bumper. Used these mounts to hold the HD 7/8ths Shackles. Don't skimp on the multiple 3/4" thick versions available here on Amazon. These are 1 inch thick and rock solid. Welded on clean and easy. Highly recommended and great value.
