fit and finish is great, price is awesome, but the piston is for a 125cc model and is too small for the cylinder they supplied in the kit, still awaiting support from Goofit.....

Everything was not really bad but to make sure everything was to spec the ring gaps are a little out of wack but rest assured she runs like a champ. The valve keeper was not all the way set on the valves so that was a flaw. Still have no clue to what rollers I have so I just got a different roller upgrade kit. Other than that pretty good hammerhead 150 hitting about 30mhp and about to hit stage 1 with something so overall I'd say a 4 out of 5 considering I caught these little mistakes but after that damn good! 🤟 would definitely buy again!

Easy Kit To install! Just swap over from old to new parts and boom your compression will be restored! Just do a valve adjustment right before anything and get a torque wrench to torque your bolts to make sure everything is in good.

This kit appears to be a great value based on the price and what it includes. I'm unsure how there are so many positive reviews, either some kits are good and some are bad or else they never actually installed it, I'm not sure. When I opened the box the first thing that made me nervous was the the piston was inside the cylinder without any lubrication. Fortunately it did not appear to scratch the cylinder wall during shipping. There were no instructions of any kind in the kit. This wasn't a big concern since I have rebuilt quite a few top ends before and this is a pretty simple one. I did want to know what the ring end gap should be and where the rings should be clocked (gaps positioned). This was easily found online so no real problem there. The real problem is either the rings or the cylinder. Either the rings are too small or the cylinder is machined too large. When checking the ring gap the best was .012 and the worst was well over .020 which is way too much of a gap. I thought maybe they are designed to expand or something so I installed them and reassembled everything with careful attention to ensuring the cam timing was correct. After everything was properly reassembled and the valve lash adjusted I started it up. The motor fired right up but was noticeably burning excessive amounts of oil right from the start. I let it warm up but it still burns oil like crazy. Although this is very inexpensive for what you get you are wasting all your money. The machining tolerances are terrible, do not buy this kit.Update: I contacted the seller and mentioned the problem. They said to lube the rings up really well. Seriously? This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of their product. The issue isn't that the rings are hard to get in to the cylinder (all rings are a little challenging) it's that the rings are manufactured too small thus leaving a large gap where the two ends meet in the cylinder. This allows oil to enter the combustion chamber and burn causing serious exhaust smoke, The other thing that could cause a ring end gap to be too big is if the cylinder bore was machined too large. I wasn't sure which was the case but I took a chance and ordered a piston and ring set from another supplier because it was only $9.99. I took the piston out from this kit and tested the new rings from the other supplier in the cylinder from this kit. The end gap was nearly perfect, just a bit small which is perfect. I now know for sure the rings included in this set are far too small. There are other reviews that are positive so like I said above maybe there are some good kits out there and I just got a piece of crap. Everything else from this kit except the piston and rings is still installed and working well. If you like to roll the dice you can try this kit but I wouldn't. Here is the piston that worked well:
