I was able to get the 45a version of this motor/esc/fan combo for a very very low price. I believe they made a pricing mistake. That being said, I got 2 units at that cost and both work perfectly. I have one running a 2wd short course truck, and it's perfect as a mild brushless setup for that. More torque and speed than brushed, but not to the point of being crazy. Temps were very very low, so I could likely gear up some. The other unit is just a backup as of now, but I did try 3s on the bench and it didn't let any smoke out. For programming I was able to use the goolrc/surpass programmer that I had to program everything. I did not have any stuttering or cogging issues with this setup. There does seem to be a tiny bit of delay on full throttle, it kind of ramps in the throttle. I'm OK with this for a mild setup. If you want something for wheelie and raw bursts of speed, spend some coin on name brand stuff. If you are like me and just want to bump up from brushed, you should go this route. And finally I was able to get these kits for TWENTY dollars each. If you see them at that price, buy a couple!

Bought this to re power a retired race truck for bashing. Handles 2S perfectly fine. Neither motor or ESC get hot. Haven't gotten the chance to test with 3s, but being a basher, 2s are cheaper and run just fine. Highly recommend as a low price option to run brushless on a budget.

Good price no manual no mounts for esc not correct directions turn dont know how to setup esc for nimh or lipo not water proof what so ever made to look like itnis but is definitely not by long shot worked for about 5 min still dont know if there setting for lipo or not

2s was okay just little delay on throttle….but went 3s got two speed runs and pfffffff magic smoke.
