Sous casque gore wear coupe vent et respirant, et deperlant. La transpiration a quand même tendance à s’accumuler lors de gros efforts et si la température extérieure est élevée. Faut faire des essais sous différentes températures et types de courses pour comprendre sa plage de température. Testé jusqu’à 2 degré en vélo ça passe, tant que l’effort est soutenu. Je ne pense pas qu’il soit fait pour des températures négatives.… Les emplacements pour les lunettes sont bien pratique et permettent de garder les lunettes en place même si on enlève le casque de vélo. L’élastique frontale serre assez et permet de plaquer le bonnet sur le front, il peut être un peu gênant avec le serrage du casque sur l’avant. Je fais 59 cm de tour de tête et j’ai pris la taille L 60-64 et c’est bien pour mon casque Abus Airbreaker en taille L aussi.

I commute 7.5 miles each way in temperatures down to 25 degrees and so far I have not felt uncomfortably cold. It stops the wind and keeps me nice and toasty even with a well ventilated helmet. The only knock is that i also sweat in this cap, so it’s quite wet at the end of my commute. But I’ll take a wet beanie over a frozen skull any day of the week.The eyeglass holes are very fidgety to insert sunglass arms into so I end up just wearing my glasses over the beanie most of the time when I’m in a hurry to get on the road.I like this beanie so much that I’m about to order a second as a backup.

I run in this hat during the winter and find it great, especially for wearing glasses. When it is seriously cold I wear a thick ear band over top of this hat.

Ok I BOUGHT THIS GORE THERMO CAP FOR MY BIKE RIDING IN THE PARK WOODS. I LIKE VERY MUCH THAT I CHOSE A SIZE LARGE. THE HAT IS THERMO TO ITS NAME MEANING YOU CAN FEEL THE WARMTH. I HAVEN'T TESTED OUTSIDE YET. NOTHING TO DISLIKE YET BUT I HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU SOON.

Great hat. Get kitted and clip in this hat vanishes on your head. It is comfortable and keeps you warm. The ear holes for sunglasses I thought were weird but once youre rolling it works well putting sunglasses arms into the holes. Washed it in the washer twice so far seems durable and still fits great.

For some reason, most beanies either don't have sunglass penetrations, or else they do have them and they're really high up on the head so that your sunglasses are at the wrong angle, or the sunglass earpieces rest IN your lower ear.This is good for warmth in the wind, but mostly because you don't have to finagle your sunglasses over the beanie where the fall off, or into the beanie where cold air gets in a defeats the point.Fits over even large ears decently, but doesn't obstruct hearing too badly.

I'm often riding in areas with cool wind and although this is pretty pricey it really helps with the cold and also the wind noise, without adding too much of a scratchy sound. I found the sunglasses holes to be helpful in reducing some fog on my glasses while hot. It's not really warm but fits well under a toque.
