Your cart is empty.The new GORILLA-LIFT Extension Roller Assembly allows your GORILLA-LIFT to be mounted further back on side rails while protecting your cables as the tailgate goes to the ground. The bracket is secured with hammer in rivets so you don’t have to tighten anything from underneath your side rail. The Extension Roller Assembly also gives extra clearance for the cable when there are obstructions at the rear edge of the side rail.

The rollers did not come with instructions in the package. I installed them as shown in the picture. Afterwards, I realized the angle imposed on the cable was very steep. I messaged Gorilla-Lift and they responded that in the instructions that come with their brand name spring housing, they state that when installing the rollers, the housing should be 3-6 inches from the end the trailer rail. I missed that part when reading their instructions. That caution would have been nice to include in the Amazon description of the rollers and with the rollers themselves. Just a heads up.

INSTALLED THESE THIS MORNING AND TOOK NO TIME...VERY TIGHT FIT AND THE RIVETS FIT PERFECT WITH THE 1/4 IN DRILLED HOLES....VERY PLEASED WITH OVERALL INSTALLATION.....VERY HELPFUL ROLLERS TO KEEP THE CABLE FROM RUBBING THE END OF THE TRAILER WHILE LOWERING GATE.

Our trailer has gate latch straps that are welded about 6 inches from the back end of trailer side rails, making it nearly impossible to attach the Gorilla Lift as-is. Then I discovered these rollers. Thanks to their addition to the end of the side rails, the Lift could be installed and works great! This simple solution saved me from having to pay someone to modify the latching set-up!

Installed on a trailer constructed with 2"x2" square tubing for the railing,even with the extension rollers mounted flush with the rear most edge of the railing the cable still rubs (and damages) the cable coverings when the tailgate is fully down. This will cause the cables to Fail at some point.This issue may be a problem on trailers with square tubing for the railings but that caution note should be in the product description.

I needed the extension rollers for the Gorilla-Lift to function correctly on my trailer. Easy installation and works as they were intended. Only time will tell how they hold up to the elements.Would buy again.
