They have been used quite often and are good quality, fun to play, weight is sturdy, the look is simple and there is no bounce as long as a flat surface

Lots of fun. Portable although you prob wouldn’t want to carry long distance. High quality. Seems legit. Great thing to have at parks or bbq.

These are very well made and very heavy duty. The bags it came with have a smooth and suede-like side that stick. Hard to beat this set at any price, really. I've been using them off and on for months and they still look new. I also really like the folding legs for putting them back in the shed.

Worthless as delivered and beyond return policy as this was a present for my grandson’s birthday in late June. Plywood laminate was separating in numerous places and became worse in one week after use even though it was stored in the garage. I spent appox. $100 for spar varnish, wood glue, sandpaper, and varnish brush to refinish both platforms. The original underside had no visible protective coating and the topside coating was marginal at best. Not US made, sticker lists Viet Nam as origin. I am very unhappy and disappointed!

There is an entire subset of people that take cornhole very seriously...I'm probably on the fringe of that subset. I run a cornhole group that consists of about 30 people and we play weekly. Many of our members are social level players that just come to have fun. On the other end of the spectrum are the maniac "pro cornhole" wannabes that bring $1000 worth of different cornhole bags, wear team jerseys and think it's impossible for a good set of boards to cost less than $300. They scoff at these boards, but I think the only reason for it is because they paid double for their set just for the logo of one of the big cornhole manufacturers to be prominently displayed. These boards are really good quality, tournament style boards. The tops are only 1/2 inch thick, which can be a legitimate issue with cheap boards IF they don't have a nice center brace in the middle of the frame. These have that brace, so the 1/2 inch tops are solid as a rock. no bounce at all. The frames are inset, like the popular brands. The legs are sturdy and braced in the center, so they don't budge. The set comes with a set of double-sided bags that, to be honest, aren't the best, but they are a good starter set to get used to playing with bags that have the slide/sticky sides that used by the better players. If you get serious about playing, you'll want to upgrade the bags at some point, but these are good for the backyard bbq.The set is ready to play out of the box, no assembly, no painting, no poly coats. Just set it up and go. With that said, I did design a set of vinyl wraps to apply to these boards and they look awesome. I suppose you could paint them, although I've never tried.Bottom line - is GoSports considered a lesser brand in cornhole circles? Yes.Do they deserve it? Absolutely not. Not for this set. (they do have some other cheaper sets that I can't speak to)Before you run out and spend $300-$400 on a set of boards- get yourself one of these. You won't regret it.
