Aesthetically, these book ends did exactly what I needed them to do for my collection of Batman hardcovers. However, they are extremely slippery and have little weight. So I had to attach double sided tape to the bottom of them to keep them in place and make them do their job.

I liked the look and was happy to find they are a substantial weight, capable of holding a good number of books (most of mine are shorter, not sure how taller books would work).

Excellent product that looks fantastic! While they are a bit light weight and more decorative than functional, they look great on my horror bookshelf (see pics).

J'ai acheté ces "appuie-livres" pour décorer mon logement ou bien décorer mon studio de cinéma-maison. Ces deux sculptures sont tout simplement magnifiques, le soucis du détail démontre un immense talent chez l'artiste créateur. Merci à la compagnie pour ce beau produit, sans aucune crainte je le recommande en hurlant.

Fairly light, nothing too heavy duty, may slip a little with heavier books. Otherwise a very cool gift.

My wife is a fan of gargoyles, and she is very happy with these bookends. I am, too. They are well crafted, nice looking, and very functional. Delivery was quick and efficient.

Has nice weight, looks good and not tacky at all. Especially since the gargoyles are different from each other. Does look like stone. The packaging was good and sturdy however, one of my bookends had a broken off corner. The product is just a heavy resin. I did not return it because you can't see the broken off piece where I am using them on top of a shelf. They really look great though.

They're bookends. Nothing more, nothing less. Holds up heavy books (the Edgar Allan Poe collection is roughly 4lbs)A great purchase, and has nice weight, gives a nice feel to the books I have displayed between them. Not a cheap, hollow set that you find elsewhere for the same price.
