Installation Tip—
Mounting screws: Pilot holes required. Installing delicate screws into hard wood requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend a No. 50 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.

These were absolutely perfect. The quality is fantastic for the price. Very refined look and work smoothly. I installed on my Alhambra classical guitar (4P) with no issues. The spacing was exactly right and the new screws were actually better than original (just a fraction longer so they grabbed into the wood well). The sellers were very very prompt and I actually reveive déjese nearly a week ahead of expected delivery. Overall a great purchase.

I just put a pair of these on my '60s Norma accoustic. I did reuse the original screws since they were twice as long. The screw holes are in a different location. I just pushed the pointed end of a test light into the wood for a pilot and screwed it in. everything else was a perfect fit! Thede are a much higher quality than the original ones. They work and look like a million bucks!!

Easily replaced some very old, partly broken tuners on a favorite guitar. A recommendation: If they are purchased as a replacement (not as new tuners for a newly built guitar), it may be wise to use the OLD screws. Those that come with this tuner have a very short shank, and may not hold if previous holes are longer. I used the old screws and they worked with no problems.
