This scale and lip gripper set came wrapped in some non-descript black plastic packaging. I almost mistakened it for something a little more adult and risque. The scale comes in one box in the lip gripper come in another box. The scale has batteries pre-installed! I thought I needed to install batteries as they actually had included an extra set of batteries and even a little screwdriver to open the compartment in the back. The scale seems reasonably accurate.The lip grippers okay but not the best in my opinion, they seem to be totally made of plastic which worries me about their long-term durability. They are black and red which matches the coloring of the scale so the set really matches each other. It would be a nice gift for the fisher person in your life.

This is intuitive and works really well to check the weight of small fish. The lip gripper is a great addition, and the scale seems to be very precise. We did not measure this against another scale for accuracy, but the numbers seemed right, so we believe that this is pretty accurate. This is a great little portable scale for fishing, so I definitely recommend it.

Pretty nice scale that reads in kg, lbs, and oz. Works well except it was glitching when trying to weigh lighter items and was always designating that item as tare. Works good with heavier items. I accurately weighed items up to 35lbs and it worked great. I really like the hold function when you're weighing, so you can removed whatever you're weighing and still read the weight. My scale came with batteries installed and also included a spare set of batteries as well as a screwdriver to remove the battery door. I haven't tested it for water proof capabilities, but I don't have any intention of submersing it so that's not a deal breaker. Overall for the money its a pretty decent deal.

It’s a cheap but quick alternative to other name brands. Lip grippers aren’t the greatest but stay closed. Tested it with a heavy barstool and didn’t open up. Material is plastic and feels super cheap. Fish scale is accurate and will weigh good sized fish, def not a trophy as my barstool weighed 15.5lbs but felt like it could open up at any time. I like the features on the scale. Cheap material but the screen is bright and the extra flashlight is cool. I do however appreciate that they come with batteries installed AND an extra set.

A very ergonomic scale with perfect placement of rubber grips for your hand. It works very well and gets the weight accurately. The flashlight feature is a little dim but it's enough to light up your fishing bag to search for items. When turning on the flashlight feature, make sure the scale is on and then double tap the power switch. To turn off the flashlight, double tap it again. If you just want to turn of the whole scale, just hold down the power button. This scale is simple to use and it's very comfortable to hold up to see how much your fish or game weighs. A must have in your hunting or fishing bag.

Goture Waterproof Digital Fishing Scale with Lip Gripper Kit was mostly accurate reading weights from 1-25 pounds that I tested it with. I also liked that it auto zeroed when I attached the Fish Lip gripper accessory. The built-in Flashlight on the back of the unit provides a very low level of light. my tiny keychain light provides much more light.I filled my sink with water and the scale did float on the top. The battery compartment has a good seal and 4 screws to keep the cover securely in place. The battery compartment remained Dry but water did leak under the Led Display lens. The flashlight started glowing weakly with the power off after 15 mins. I had dried the unit off really well but had a good amount of water run out from the bottom where the scale hook enters the plastic case body when held up. With the batteries installed the flashlight glows weakly with the power off now.

I like this set. I tested it against my kitchen scale and found it to be accurate, at least with the items I weighted. It came with two sets of batteries and a screwdriver to install them. The lip grippers are ok, but they do work, I just prefer a different style. Overall I'm happy with the set.

Seems to be built well. Ergonomic and light weight. The scale is accurate. The screen is bright and easy to read.
