This motor and ESC combo has plenty of torque, making it a solid upgrade for my 1/10 RC crawler. It’s not as loud as some reviews suggested, just a bit of noise from the ESC fan, which isn’t a big deal. However, it does get super hot, even during slow crawling, which is a bit concerning. The built-in BEC is only 5V, which is lower than expected and might limit performance for higher-end servos. While it works well overall, the heat issue makes me question its long-term durability. A decent option, but keep an eye on temps.

This thing has a lot of torque at low speed. I am using it at a pretty low speed (200 rpm), but it works well even that slow. It came in a nice case, with an adapter for an XT60 battery. My only complaint is that the fan on the ESC is loud and makes a bit of a rattle.

When I initially set up this combo; I could not get anything to power up or work. After some trouble shooting, I found out that the Deans to XT-60 conversion plug included does not work at all. Once I powered the system without the plug converter, everything powered up just fine; but the fan on the ESC was making terrible noise like it came with a bad bearing in the fan. Then a bug of some sort crawled out of the ESC which was quite the surprise. There is no included means of programming this ESC; though the included paperwork says that the ESC is able to be programmed. The integrated BEC only runs at 6v 3 amps which will make nicer servos under-perform greatly.I feel the lack of quality control, and lack of information included for this ESC/Motor combo is something that would lead me to avoid recommending this as an option for people to upgrade to.
