2004 Chevy trailblazer LS our middle console top was broke. This was easy to install. Although instructions weren't helpful. It fits and works. Looks like the old piece.

My 2006 Trailblazer LT has leather seats and the armrest is leather too so the armrest leather is stapled to the inner plastic upper. So I only needed the lower piece and the release handle/mechanism. Took about 10 minutes to do the entire replacement job. I was only able to 2 of the 3 screws on the bottom towards the back, the 3rd middle was just a big hole for some reason with nothing for the hole to attach to. The other issue is the lip is not as wide on the bottom part compared to the OEM one but still it all works. My arm rest now works properly. Takes about a dozen open and closes to losen up a bit but works like new again.

This is an exact replacement for the console lid on my 2005 Trailblazer. I only ended up using the bottom piece of this kit because I didn't want to have to bother with re-stapling the padding back to the new top piece, but everything lined up perfectly. My old one had been broken for so long, I'd forgotten that it was actually supposed to hold itself open. When taking the old one apart to replace it, I realized that the spring had jumped off and was just dangling there. A word of wisdom from someone that just did it, the 3 screws that attach to the metal part of the hinge and that are such a pain in the butt to line up.. the middle one can be shot through while the bottom of the lid is still off. I probably spent 30 minutes trying to line it up while fighting with the spring... felt like a dummy when I realized how it was 'supposed' to go back together. About 20 minutes, a Phillips screwdriver, and a 9/32" bit driver is all you'll need to get this replacement installed.

This was an easy installation for my broken center console LID.My color match was not a problem where I mostly was concerned about the repair. This LID fit as described and now I have a working and functional console LID again.I recommend this durable lid for its exceptional price and durability.

The center console in my 2002 Trailblazer was in bad shape. There was a soft spot in the center, that turned out to be shattered plastic and it no longer latched. This fixed all that. This kit uses the rubber skin from your original center console and provides new bones and a new latch to put that rubber skin onto. Now I have a perfectly color-matched, latching, comfortable to put my arm on, center console.Mine didn't come with instructions, but I puzzled it out without too much issue.

This same exact part is 44 bucks at my local Chevy dealer for a part that A) Should not be made of plastic in the first place, instead it should be made of metal and B) How in the world can Chevy justify charging 44 bucks for something that clearly costs no more than 2 bucks to manufacture and ship what a ripoff! So bottom line is for 7 bucks I not only got a new handle but I got 2 yes 2 for only 7 bucks, not bad at all a great deal, if I do say so myself!
