Every time I've tried a different brand of tire I've regretted it. The Continental Grand Prix, whether the 4-Season or the higher end road tires provide long wear, decent resistance to flats, a comfortable ride and ample control. I inflate them to their max and never had an issue with blowouts or related failure. I ride 16 miles daily, seven-days a week March through December. These Continentals last about three years! Depending on the rim, the go on and off the wheel fairly easily compared with the Pirellis that I tried. It's worth paying a premium for a product manufactured in Germany.

I have been using these tires for over a year. They have been great tires. Good puncture resistance also.

I've always went with Continental tires If I wanted a good tire at a good price. I can depend on them to be reliable, consistent quality tire at a fair price. I don't get the 5000 line as the general tire works just fine.

I always rode on vittoria tires. However, I kept getting blowouts while on the road so I was looking for tires that are a bit more durable. After doing some research, I found these continentals which are a great mix of protection and speed. I put them on my bike at 7 bar and took them out for a quick 15 minute jaunt. They are super smooth and very grippy on tight turns. They definitely stick to the tarmac and give a great sense of security. So far I have a few hundred miles on them and am so glad I made the switch. So far the PolyX break has been doing it’s job as I haven’t had any blowouts. Since putting these on my average mph has increased slightly. Will definitely purchase again.
