I have relatively recently moved my journaling efforts from the computer back to physical volumes and I have been looking for good journals for that purpose. This one seemed like a good one and I took a chance on it. It's a good volume and I am pleased with it, though the cost is a bit elevated.This journal is a little different than many others I have used. Instead of a leather-like (or even genuine leather) cover, this one is cloth lined. It's made well and I like it - it should hold up to some abuse and wear-and-tear. This is the only journal I have that has gilded pages and it adds a touch of class. It comes with a pen which I honestly will not use but it's a nice-to-have right out of the gate.My main concern with journals is the paper used. I write almost exclusively with fountain pens so I look for thicker papers that can stand up to my fountain pen inks. This one has cream-colored pages that are thicker than most, and so far it has not given me any trouble with bleeding through or ghosting. I also appreciate the fact that the pages are lined but uncluttered, leaving plenty of room for writing.My one hesitation is the price. This is an expensive volume, especially when considering that the cover is not leather. I will have to weigh carefully if I want to buy another one when this one is full.This is a nicer journal than most I have seen and I like it. It is made well and has good quality paper. It's on the expensive end of things, though.

This notebook is amazing quality. The design is cute but classy. Great to use for a personal journal or to give as a gift.

Beautiful journal. There is a cherry on the front that says "Cherish the Little Things". The cover is embossed with gold ink, and the pages are covered with gold edging. The book comes with a gold pen that writes well. There is a rubber band to use as a bookmark. Each page is lined with a date area on top right. It is a very high quality journal.

This is a very nice book. The binding seems to be well done, and the cover is attractive. The paper has a nice texture to write on, which doesn't cause ink to smudge like some really smooth paper does. It's going to be a pleasure to write in this one. If you're looking for something nice to record events or thoughts, this one should last a lifetime. I'm very happy with the opportunity to test this one out. It's far nicer than anything we found at local office supply stores, and far cheaper than similar options at the local book store or craft store.

The outside of this journal is adorable and the fabric used on the sturdy cover is nice. It's too bad the pen that comes with it dug into the gold gilding (due to the way it's shrink-wrapped together) all the way down the edge and destroyed half of the aesthetic appeal. Unfortunately, the shape of the pen also makes it uncomfortable to write with, so it's not even like a fun bonus to get the pen. I really wish they would have just sent the journal without the pen. That would have made this journal 5 stars for me. The journal itself (excluding the damage from the pen) is great.

I've never heard of Graphique but apparently they are an American stationary company inspired by the French tradition with products made in china.With that said, the journal is very well made. The pages can lay flat similar to my beloved moleskin. They feel heavy duty and like the fancy paper you used to get for expensive stationary with a more matte finish. each page is lined with a place for date. The edges are colored in gold. The hard cover is wrapped in clothe.I didn't love the pen that came with it but it was very heavy duty.Honestly, It's a beautiful notebook I would take anywhere. Highly recommend for people who love paper. Probably too expensive for journal for kids.

This. beautiful journal was carefully designed. The cover has a linen feel and dyed a saturated bright cherry red (beautiful shade), with a matching elastic band and gold embossing on the cover. The interior of the cover is lined in cream paper with small red dots (again, beautiful). The page edges are gilded in gold, and all pages plus cover have rounded edges. The paper feels cottony, almost linen (not slick at all), and quite thick. There is a side pen holder with pen enclosed (not the best ballpoint pen, but nice to have it included!). This journal feels very custom or made-to-order. Just amazing quality. To the seller, thank you for carrying such an amazing product, and I hope this sells, because it deserves to be in the hands of many! I would order this again when needed. This is a top quality product.
