About this item

  • This Grappling mate is carefully crafted to be a long lasting product. We designed the dummy to tolerate extensive use and we’re selling it at a fair price while ensuring excellent quality and durability. Our product is specially designed for strenuous MMA training.
  • 75% of all sides are welt seam stitched and the rest are simple seam stitched with a silk thread.
  • We strive to continue improving our products and have made drastic improvements to the Grappling mate, since its inception. Most notable are: 30% thicker canvas than the traditional one and also endurable shoulder system and neck design to really fit Triangle, Arm Bar, Arm Choke, neck choke etc.
  • Please note that The Grappling Mate is ONLY the outer shell. The product comes unfilled! When deciding to fill your dummy, take into consideration that it may not look identical to one shown in the pictures since those are filled professionally.
  • This product is sold UNFILLED and the best material for stuffing is shredded cloths or rags. Polyfil can be used, but it might not have the same support, as the polyfil is not dense enough.

Great value for the price. Tough canvas material, decent zippers, and double stitching. I bought two of these paired with wrestling mats for Christmas. They were a hit among my four sons ages 7, 10, 12, and even my 15 threw them around. We stuffed them with old quilts, jeans, shirts, coats, and sheets. They weren’t the easiest to stuff, but it really wasn’t that difficult either. Definitely recommend. Ours are used for wrestling, tackling dummies for football, and as bullseye target for throwing.

We stuffed him with old sheets and it filled him perfectly. It takes small hands to shift the filling into the feet and hands. Extremely durable.Worth the price!
