Convert your GMG pellet grill into a wood-wired gourmet pizza oven. The pizza oven attachment captures and funnels the heat from the firebox directly up and into the steel baking chamber encasing the pizza stone. This process raises the internal temperature of your pellet grill to that of a real wood burning pizza oven. It creates temperatures upwards of 800 degree Fahrenheit, allowing you to cook restaurant quality pizza in 2-4 minutes. It is also useful for baking bread at 400-600 degrees Fahrenheit and searing steaks at 900 degrees Fahrenheit. This attachment fits Trek and Davy Crockett grills....

Wasn’t very sure about this purchase initially BUT it was a great purchase. If you love pizza, this is a great at home pizza maker and being able to use it in my Traeger is a game changer. If you are considering this purchase, do it. Now, with that said, you do have to take the smoker apart to put the pizza oven in the burner opening but it is not a problem and easy to do. I recommend this pizza oven!!

This oven is great. There is plenty of space in there to make a 9 in personal pizza in under 4 minutes. I really like the flavor of the pizzas. Be sure to immediately order a 9x11 pizza peel or you will struggle with this pizza oven. You will also need a heavy duty heat proof glove to open the smoker and deal with your pizza. Highly recommend.

Overall I really love this little oven.Pros:It came with a pizza dough recipe in the book that's super easy to make, and actually has a great taste/texture.Wood fired pizza flavor. It's so much better than cooking in the oven.It can fit a pretty good sized personal pizza in itCons:If you don't roll the pizza dough out thin enough, or get over-zealous with your toppings, it's pretty hard to get the pizza in and out of the oven. I've had to lift the lid off in some extreme cases, and have often lost some cheese and toppings trying to get it out. That said - make your crust thin, and 90% of the time you'll be ok.

I bought this for my Davey Crockett smoker not really sure what to expect. I read a lot of reviews and knew the opening was small but figured wth lets give it a try. This thing is amazing. It took me one pizza to figure it out. They take an average of 2-3 min to cook and they are crispy and perfect. the trick is to flour the peel so the pizza slides off easy. Also yes, the opening is small but you can fit almost a 10" pizza and if you happen to grow while cooking the top part lifts up. Get yourself a metal pipe to lift the handle. Don't touch that sucker because its HOT.

Ok, I really wanted to love this attachment! You know a pizza oven for your grill? But there are a few issues I had with it, and now it sits in my garage with the forgotten toys.First of all you will need a thermo gun to measure the heat temperature on the pizza stone. Yes you need a heat reading device to measure the internal temperature of he pizza stone. This does not come with a thermo Gun!Also the opening is very small so the pizza will have to be somewhat think with limited ingredients, and you'll be lucky if you can add more then the sauce, cheese, and one extra ingridient. Also you'll need to buy or have a pizza paddle and dry cornmeal. Now for he solutions, if you buy it anyways?1. set the internal temperature of the grill to 350 degrees, and wait for the grill to hit that temperature first. Before you add the pizza. GMG forums for this say "350" is the temperature to use.The pizza will cook very fast, crazy fast, so keep an eye on it and do a 1/4 turn on the pizza at least once, but twice is better. If you don't have or want the pizza attachment? Solution #2: get a pizza stone you can use on the grill. Set the grill to 450 degrees! Since you aren't using the pizza oven to trap the heat in, you can just use a pizza stone instead. If you choose soluion #2, the pizza will take longer by 8 or ten minutes, but you can add more toppings!

This is a great addition to our little Davey Crockett grill. We made the dough using the recipe in the included instruction book , 00 flour, and prepared small round dough balls on a cookie sheet for quick pizza production. This unit is small, but made perfect 6 inch personal pizzas with each of the kids preparing their own and my husband cooking them. They took about four minutes to cook with a stone temp measured at 690 degrees. It was a cold rainy day and it took about 40 min to reach this temp. The pizzas were perfect, and easy to slide on using the GMG Davey Crockett pizza peel. We preferred using a grilling hamburger turner to rotate and remove the pizzas. Again because they are small, this was very easy to do. The crust and toppings cooked perfectly. We did notice the stone temperature reducing between pizzas, and paused after five pizzas for 10 minutes to reheat the stone. The kids loved preparing their own pizzas, and cooking them was fun. We will be taking our grill and this attachment camping with the kids. Assembly took only a couple minutes to install in the grill, and the attachment packs back in the box for easy travel. If you are wondering how the oven gets so hot, the unit sits over the fire box with all the heat going into the attachment producing perfect wood fired little pizzas!
