I’ve only used this once, but very happy with the results. I already had the greenworks pro lawnmower, which is why I got the pro hedge trimmer. Battery lasts a long time. Hedge trimmer is easy to use and does a cut job cutting through fairly thick hedges to allow me to quickly shape my trees and hedges into something less wild.

I lugged a gas-powered hedge trimmer around the house and yard for years. It was a pain to start and heavy. I'd have to fill the tank a few times to get finish. I thought gas-powered was better until it finally quit and I decided to try this battery-powered trimmer. I chose the GreenWorks Pro HT60B00 60V Max because we have a GreenWorks blower that uses the same battery. Now I can switch the battery back and forth between the two and get the job done in much less time. I love how easy the GW trimmer is to start and it starts every time! The handle rotates and locks, depending on what angle I need. When I turn it off, it stops right away. I'd let the gas one idle, walking or driving from hedge to hedge, because it was such a pain to start. Next, I'm going to look for a grass trimmer that uses the same battery, too. There are at least two kinds of batteries, so make sure all tools use the same type. BTW, somehow my order came with a battery and charger, so that was a bonus!

cuts stuff down, does it well. Doesn't cut things bigger than the distance between forks, but that would make it a miracle product. Its not a miracle product, but it beats scissors or chain saws for stuff in its range. Best if you have other compatible tools for the battery, else you will spend too much probably, but hey, you're rich right.. just go ahead then..

It is said you can't buy happiness. Whoever said that has never used this trimmer. I already had the batteries from our lawn mower so this was a perfect addition to my lawn care tools. I replaced an older, corded model. With this new one I finished the job in half the time and it looks better. The longer blade helps me keep the lines even. The cordless feature avoids having to haul power cords around the yard. By the end, I was smiling near to ear. I used it for well over an hour. I trimmed about 100 linear feet of bushes and the battery still had 25% of its charge at the end.

So much lighter than the gas powered model it replaced, much easier on the back, shoulders and arms. Very surprised by the power, easily sliced through some pretty thick bushes. Have used several times, probably 20 minutes plus each time and when I went to recharge it was at 50% using the 2 amp battery.. If you’re using for any longer you may want some type of of shoulder strap which I could not find as an option. Not related to the tool itself but a dual battery charger would be great to have a fully charged battery “ on deck” which I could not find as an option. Overall extremely happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.
