Nice inexpensive tool, battery and charger

Works well to cut drywall but limited on what cutting bits you can use and battery life could be better.. can cut out 2 or 3 windows before the battery dies

At this point I've had quite a few rotary tools I've got a thousand watt over my bench rotary grinder with a reverse forward very powerful but it breaks cables like they're made out of butter and they're hard to get the exact right one. I've been through quite a few including the Milwaukee which I thought would be superior but it wasn't it was actually one of the worst ones I've had it overheated too often and ruined batteries really quick. This one okay I like the power by far one of the most powerful ones I've ever used maybe to its fault because this thing is defaulted to start on the third setting and it's just too fast for a lot of bits even if you hurry and hit the pause button and change the speed by the time you get that pause button some bits are going to be destroyed I've had a couple that completely bent over on the first or second spin because three is just too fast for some of the cheaper bits now if you got them talk to all the way down in to the Jaws it's not so bad but it's still too fast I wish this thing was defaulted to start out on number one every time I think that's a flaw and I think they need to rethink that I can't be the only one that feels that way but other than that I don't think I can find a single complaint about this it is the most universal and the most comfortable in the hand the powers like I said it's amazing and when you do need power so far I've got some pretty hefty steel and I haven't needed anything over setting number three and very seldom till that high but it scares me because I've had a couple of bits come flying out of there and the little it's a little sanding drums will toss the sandpaper drum off no matter how tight you have that thing and in some cases it'll be destroyed on the second or third spin well let the speed it's one second or third it's fast I wish I could say there wasn't any flaws but I do believe this is one. But I guess off to figure out a way to live with it because I love this tools absolutely by far out of probably five or six rotary tools that I've used over the years definitely by far better than the Dremel brand and this thing is without a doubt going to be used an awful lot I go to these tools for a lot of things where others me select other tools but this thing is one of my favorites. that's I wish if they read something about this number three setting I wish they'd rethink that now I am a retired electronics engineer and I'm pretty sure I can open this thing up and change it but I will not open it up I won't be doing anything to it cuz I have a bad habit of taking things apart when I buy them to improve them and either voiding the warranty or voiding its ability to work lol. Hope this helps if anybody's in the market is a certainly a great tool just be prepared maybe your reflexes will be quicker than mine but when this thing comes on for me to hurry and hit that pause button sometimes I panic and I don't push it hard enough so just be warned and I'm sure those of you that have already got this tool are very aware of issue and probably have it figured out I bet I can't be the only one that thinks this is wrong. I'm not in any way saying don't buy this tool if you're looking for a rotary tool this would be the one as long as you're aware of what I think is something to be ready for

Cost of battery and charger more than doubles the price for this tool, it probably works if you're already a Greenworks customer, otherwise be prepared to buy the other parts to get this guy working
