I have not used this grill basket yet. I gave 4 stars at this point because of the latch. I will need to remember, when using this basket, to make sure the lid is securely latched when flipping it over. In fairness, I saw this before I ordered, so no surprise. The basket will lie flat on the grill surface, in both upright and flipped positions. I think the handle will be fairly easy to attach and detach, in both positions.I plan to use this to grill vegetables, and I think it will work nicely for my intended use. The construction is good and seems sturdy enough to get the job done.I like that the lid fits without a space between it and the basket.An extra wire, welded into each corner of the basket, to make the gap at the corners smaller, would be nice. It would also make this design “one of a kind” as no manufacturers seem to be doing this. Maybe it would cause significant build cost.I plan to place items that are long and small enough to fit through the corners, in a front to back position, so they don’t slip through the corners. Problem solved.

I used this little product when I barbecue my seafood and vegetables on the grill. It is a great size I was able to put at least four pieces of fish at a time. Great quality, easy to clean. It’s also easy to handle. The handles didn’t get too hot.
