The exceptionally stable round base is made of heavy-duty cast iron, while a rubber ring on the bottom ensures acoustic isolation and surface protection. The GMS 231 HB features a new and especially convenient single-handed height adjustment function fitted with a non-slip ergonomic handle that makes it very easy to use at all times. The custom-designed retainer requires no tools for quick and secure microphone clip attachment. VARIWEIGHT compatible - patented stability system for secure holding and simple transportation by means of an insertable weight disc. An additional set of black coding rings is included with the GMS 231 HB; more ring packs are available in a wide array of colors for clear personalization. For increased stability, a 2. 3 kg weight disc is available as an accessory (article no. GWS2WP) that is easy to assemble without tools.

These stands are great. I own a few of them. The easy to use clutch makes for fast one-handed operation. They are well built but not overly heavy. Truth in advertising: I did have one break, and the company sent a new one right away and did not ask me to send the other on back. For the price, it's really worth giving it a shot.

I use this in a an actual comedy club I run sound/lighting for, and it's perfect. Gravity are known for their robust manufacturing and craftsmanship and this is another example of their excellent quality. The one-handed height adjustment can be a little stiff as the clutch grip requires quite a bit of force. That said, none of the acts who know how to use it have had an issue (all genders). The only issue is some performers don't realise (or forget I've told them) it's a one-handed operation and they start trying to twist it, which obviously doesn't work. Also note that it's just the stand and base; no actual microphone holder is included but all good mics (including my trusted comedy favourite, the SM58) all come with a suitable holder so you should have what you need.

Macht genau das was er soll, ist sehr stabil und fühlt sich wertig an. Gut verarbeitet und absolut bühnentauglich.

Ja, mein Mikro wird festgehalten. Nur wackelt nach kurzer Nutzung oben schon der gesamte Aufbau incl. dem Verstellmechanismus. Der Rest wirkt aber stabil und robust.Update: habe mich inzwischen für ein anderes Produkt aus dem Hause K&M entschieden, die Mirkofonhalterung wackelte immer mehr ...
