Check out you tube, there is a great review for this particular machine. You need to take the time to set it up properly. Once you run some scrap thru and the setting are correct, spot check before each project..It will take 8/4 maple, but take your time. A woodworker 11 blade may be a great help.If you are intending to use the 12 months option, make sure amazon tells it bank. I have to do this soon, Amazon didn't, and it is not the first time. Safety is your responsibility. With any cutting equipment you must be attentive of what you are doing. Saw stop doesn't end all safety requirements.

Don't buy Grizzly products through CT Tools or Amazon.

+ I can dial in the tools and they work for my needs and tolerances.+ These tools are price leaders; for the money, the table saw was good.+ It's safer with the riving knife and has dust collection.- I find the aluminum gauge they use feels quite cheap (it's very easy to bend, which is not good for a fence system).- Table tops scratch super easy (unlike my cheaper Craftsman Contractor's Saw)- Every time I go to take off the riving knife, I bust my knuckles.- Build quality: After 5-10 hours of use, I started hearing a concerning sound coming from the saw. After a while, the sound got so bad that I was afraid to use the saw. I took off the side cover and ran the saw to troubleshoot, and saw something wrong under the motor cover. I removed the end, and I found that the aluminum cooling fan had broken off its hub. Looking at the connection, it's weak; the material is flimsy and the weld/bend makes it very weak. It is probably no surprise that these fans are on back order now, because they have a tendency to break. In all, save up for the more expensive Powermatic, Jet, or Sawstop which are never known to have these problems. I use this for my hobby, and I like spending my limited time working on projects, instead of fixing my tools. Incidentally, in every email from customer service they "you are a valued customer," but they have no interest keeping repeat customers happy by eating the cost of a $6.98 fan.

The best thing about buying this product through amazon was the fact that grizzly coordinated the shipping perfectly and it arrived with all the parts in the window that was scheduled. The saw set up easily and grizzly was available by phone and email to support with any questions I had. Very happy with this purchase.

Great value for the money. For a little over $1000, I now have a really good table saw. It is much better than the portable table saws. I really don't have any gripes at all. I do agree with one reviewer I saw - if you're going to put a mobile base on - put it on before the table surfaces are mounted - They are heavy :)

I really can't complain about this saw. From my perspective, It is a great purchase for a hobbyist.I have had mine for several weeks now, and have been using it several times without any issue at all.It arrived with damaged packaging but nothing inside was actually damaged.Assembly is pretty easy and straight forward. I did not take me long to get everything square.I have one cast iron wing that is slightly cupped (

Great value. The saw was easily assembled and tuned in under an hour and was up and running. The table is perfectly flat and fence square.
