It was worth the long wait. It is exactly what we wanted. We have the exact Grohe hose in our main bathroom. We have had it for 10 years with no leakage. Only negative it is a bit heavier then a plain hose because of the wrapping of metal around the hose. Easy to attach.

When I purchased my new Hansgrohe 4528000 Raindance Select E120 Low Flow 2.0 GPM Hand Shower wand I also purchased the recommended hansgrohe Techniflex B 63-inch shower Hose. I found this plastic hose to be way too stiff to my liking. I then ordered the 79 inch Relexa Longlife Metallic Hose. A small rubber strap wrench made a quick and easy job of removing the plastic hose and installing the metallic hose. After almost six weeks of daily use the new hose is working perfectly. I'm very glad I bought it. By paying attention to how the wand is placed in its holder I can now turn on the water full force confident the spray will go where intended. I found this to be a next to impossible feat with the stiff plastic hose I had originally bought with hand shower wand.

This is the 2nd shower hose I ordered since i had my bathroom shower updated years ago..Reason? The hose's connection to the water source.separated, causing leakage.My wife, who is handicapped uses the shower daily. The hose is constantly bending and stretching during use.I'm sure the shower hose breaks because of how many times it is being used.I don't expect the hose to last a lifetime. This shower hose ordered matches all the other fixtures used in the shower and I don't want to use a non-Grohe product as a replacement..

Not so Great. Had two of these. One seldom used in a guest bath; sprang a leak after two years. The second in my Master Bath. It sprang a leak at two years also. Two star, two year hoses!

I read the reviews carefully before I selected this shower hose, and my research paid off. I am very, very satisfied with the quality of this hose. It is not plastic, it's definitely metal, and just the right length so I can wash my dog, or rinse down the walls of my shower easily. It is wonderfully flexable. The quality of the fixtures on each end is significant, nice hardware, not chrome-plated plastic. They are easy to handle and tighten. Buy quality, it's worth it.

I priced my Grohe products at a local store and bought them here on Amazon for less than HALF of what the local plumbing "discount" supplier was able to source for me.Grohe has always been one of my top brands and this item is no exception. Heavy feel, great finish, item was exactly as described. I was trying to find the exact same showerhead hose that I had in a previous house and this was it. MUCH BETTER quality than the cheaper items you'll find at the Big Box home improvement stores. I don't know if Grohe is available at those kind of stores where you live, but it's not where I live. The cheaper items will feel cheap in your hands. You will immediately know the difference. Proof positive that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. This item ain't cheap, but quality has a price.Buy this item - you'll be glad you did!

I bought this because the one I had before was a cheaper stretch hose that started to leak in the middle. It just couldn't take the pressure or the heat (lowest setting on water heater). I figured that I would buy this, it's a little more expensive but by what I've been reading, Grohe is better made than most brands. I've been using this hose for a while now, no leaks and don't even need to stretch it at all, it's plenty long enough to go anywhere I need to use it. You can feel the quality just by feeling the hose. The one before felt cheap. Excellent product, I'm glad I spent the little extra!!!!

This is my second hose that I purchased from Grohe. The first one was defective on one of the ends that's connected to the hand shower. My hand shower was from Grohe too, no complain about it. Unfortunately, the first hose only lasted for two months. When I was able to return it, the return window had closed a month from the day I returned it, and I only got partial return (better than nothing). So, my husband and I browsed around amazon again, hoping to get a better hose from Grohe, knowing this brand has been established for so long, and their products are not the cheapest as well in the market, thought we'd give this second hose a try (different seller from the first hose). When we received the product, I inspected both ends had firm trims that connect to the hand shower and the tab. However, after I turned on the water, crash-boom-bang, water leaked from the middle of the hose.What a shame, Grohe. I'm returning this hose today, thank God, didn't have to pay for the shipping. But our journey with Grohe has ended here.
