I have one on my Marlin 39, one on my Marlin 1894, one on my scoped Ruger Single Six, and one on my scoped Ruger BHawk 30 Carbine. All of them fit just right, snug with no gaps; they tightened down very nice and I like the extra screw they gave me with each one (and the wrench, too). The length of extension - about an inch, maybe 7/8ths - is more than adequate for my thumb and the surface texture is perfect.I did not use any loc-tite for the installations but instead I check them from time to time for any looseness. In the last several years, I think there have been 2 or 3 occasions when I needed to torque one down.I almost deducted a star because they do make you wait for delivery - seemed like it took nearly 3 weeks to get here. But shipping was free and I wasn't getting out to the range during that time so I'll let it slide. But long shipping time just the same.

Hunted one for years. Found this and its perfect. I have a H&R Handy Rifle. Got it when I was a kid. 20 gauge and 30-30 Rifle. Now I can use a scope on the old gun. Its 40+ year old and sure needed this.
