Bought these back in March 2022 for my tropical plants, liked them so much I bought another set last year in October. Originally the lights were longer but they did shorted them (the longer lights make my older set tip over on the stand if directed all in one direction) the only issue I’ve had is the older sets cord went out recently, all I had to do was look for a replacement and just plug it in, worked fine after that! I currently use one set for my fish tanks and another for my plants during the winter! Both work AMAZING! I will be buying another set in the near future! They are a bit expensive at their list price, I suggest to wait until they have a sale!

Disclaimer: I received these lights at a discount via a Snag Shout promotion. I was not required to write a review, and receiving these cheaper is simply a nice bonus; I'd be happy even if I had paid much more for them.I got these lights about six weeks ago so I could isolate some of my cat's favorites in my north-facing office. He had been very hard on them, and these lights have been an essential part of their recovery. But, even in plants that hadn't been damaged by the cat, these lights have made a huge difference. My aglaonema and ficus have shown new growth for the first time in MONTHS. My donkey tail is startingly healthier than the plant was when I started using these lights, my haworthia is blooming in December, and everybody is shooting out babies. I notice new growth somewhere almost every time I look, and it makes the whole process of growing plants even more enjoyable.I use the lights on maximum intensity for 12 hrs/day because most of the plants here love lots and lots of sun. The exact placement of everything has changed over time (thanks, kids and pets!), but the results from this light have been far above my expectations. I would love to have an easier way to convert to sit on a table or shelf rather than using the stand, and I did have to return once because the lights wouldn't turn on (it was completed without a hitch). But those are honestly my only complaints, and I would buy this light again in a heartbeat if I needed one.(Although it is not a perfect indicator, I like to check the light intensity of my growlights. I use the Lux app. Readings were all in the 5,000-12,000 range on the first shelves. Hopefully this info helps someone.)

I would give this item a 5 star but the pole is a little flimsy. It leans a little to the side. Setup was easy enough. The best feature on this particular light is the timer function. It turns on and off by itself so I don't have to worry about remembering to do it. The lights are dimmable. The highest setting is really bright which my plants seem to love so far. I have it set for my aroids and hoya that can't get close enough to the window. So far, so good. Would recommend this light. Just don't extend the bars all the way out or it becomes top heavy. Makes no noise.

Great product. Had it recommended and won’t look back. Timer works great, as well as the light has different setting for brightness. Super easy to set up, took 3 minutes. The cord has built in surge protection for unknown outages that happen. Tripod is quite sturdy. As well as I love how you can position the lights to hit different plants. I have about 15 plants and all of them get light. Life saver for the darker winter months. Highly recommend to fellow plant people who can’t have a light hanging from the ceiling or nothing to clip one to. Only set back is that the bulbs are built in, so if they burn out you need to buy a whole new system. Luckily they’re LED lights so it’ll be a long time before facing that issue! Worth the price!
