Great disappointment in this so called high quality fishing bib. I work on a commercial crab boat and have used them daily since delivery. Within 3 days the strap support became unsewn and fell off causing straps to fall off shoulders. I used recommended sizing and was also disappointed in lack of adjustment length ( straps fully extended) too short. Would have ordered 2X had I known.I expected better from this trusted name brand. Very disappointing. Do not know if I will stay with the brand

I’m extremely disappointed. Years ago, I bought a pair of Carhartts for $50, and they were perfect. Unfortunately, I can’t find those anymore, so I decided to try these in XL, as recommended by Amazon. For reference, I’m 6’2”, about 230 lbs, and carry my weight well.The main issue, as others have mentioned, is the lack of crotch room. I purchased both XL and XXL to compare, and the only difference between them is the width. The XXL offers no improvement for taller individuals. The straps are also a huge letdown—they’re nowhere near adjustable enough, making them incredibly limiting.i was able to remove the cross clip from the back of the straps to gain a half inch for my crotch to breath. this is the minimum room i needed so i will keep the XL.if these fit you, i have no doubt they would be a decent option. if you are long in the leg, and had a half inch to go, remove the cross brace. still sucks.

Extremely heavyweight, durable, waterproof, and stain resistant. I have the jacket in XL and love it, however the pants in XL were huge. I wear 32/32 pants and wanted space to wear jeans and my tool belt underneath so XL seemed like a great idea, but ended up looking like a parachute when I put them on. Reordering the medium and I expect them to fit perfectly with space to spare.Note: I bought these for sanitation in a chicken processing plant and they are perfect for the job.

I like the bibs but the sizing runs big. I'm 5'4" and 44inch waist, bought the xl which supposedly fits only a 40-42" waist and they were still too big! I could easily place my arms inside the bibs and still have plenty of room. They were also too long, which I expected that, as I usually cut bottoms off of things. I would say the inseam would be around 32" on the xl bibs, so if you're tall they would work out.Great material, I can tell they could withstand some serious work and still keep you dry. I also like that I could take them on and off work my boots on. I returned them, however, because they were way too big for me.Since I am a 44" waist, and the xl bibs supposedly fits a 40-42" waist, yet these were still too big, I would say from the waist size the sizing chart states, you could easily add at least another 4". So the xl bibs could easily fit a 44-46" waist and still have a little wiggle room.update: I ordered a size large and they are still a little too big and long. I really liked them though, I had enough room to layer if needed, but returned because the length of them.

These bibs are great. Exactly what you expect from a company like Grundens. As a first mate on a charter boat I got tired of ruining every pair of boardshorts I have with blood. I bought these grundens because they were the thinner pair so I wouldnt be hot in the scorching summer heat, however they are still thick enough that they dont rip easily. These bibs are great. You get them dirty and they wash right off. I even keep a pair in the back of my truck for when im working certain jobs in poor weather (Mainly snow). The only drawback about these bibs is that the sizing is atrocious. I am a smaller guy at 5'6" 140, but normally wear a medium and size 30 waste. I tried on a medium and swam in them. Then a small, then an extra small. The size charts have a terrible correlation to the actual size of the bibs that you receive. Definitely recommend, just don't be surprised when they fit poorly and you have to exchange them for another size.
