Sensors installed in old ones place with no problems. Usually don’t believe in ten minute jobs but in this case that’s all it literally took to get my garage door fixed. Saved money by doing it myself.

Perfect replaement for my 1994 Genie opener sensors. I had to adjust the older wiring a bit but Genie Technical Support was really good. Adjustment was never easier. Hope that helps.

Got it to replace the old Genie sensors for the screw drive motor that was listed among the compatible with this product. It did not work. It was not a misalignment because I actually freed the wires and held the transmitter and the receiver at a distance of 1 inch from each other. For the heck of it, used infrared tester to visualize the signal. It’s a random mess that I doubt any device can comprehend or lock on,Bottom line - junk. Don’t buy. I’m putting 1 star for 2 reasons:1. There’s no option to put less2. There’s still a possibility that my particular purchase ended up being defective. In any case, unreliable.
