Product intended to dampen the fall from 5000 lbs of force down to 1800 lbs and I purchased the 3ft extension so it’s easier to attach and detach from rope or yo yo and I do plan to swing on the roof to test it out almost ready to do everything on my own just need one person to call ems if I can’t get out of a pickle on my own oh get trauma safety protection so legs get blood circulating in case it takes too long for some one to get you down

Be super-careful when you get the lanyard. There is part of it that is enclosed in a plastic case. You might be tempted to open it up. Don't. There is a warning on the case not to cut it open, which is good. But I ignored it and had to make my own case.I used this while painting the house and using a boom-lift I rented. There's no way I would have been willing to paint in some areas without this as a backup.Set aside an hour or so to figure out how to wear it. There are helpful internet videos on how it works. it isn't intuitive.

Hard to rate this as I haven't needed it full services but it so far has been easy to clip to the harness and the lift. As I said for the harness I hope to never need to use this product fully.
