It spread my Rye seed perfectly at least 9 ft on both sides of my 4-wheeler (front mounted). This way you can adjust the amount being spread and watch it at the same time. Easy to control. Best way is to use an external battery source.

There are two different videos of products on this sellers site. Just understand the hopper does not even hold a 50 pound bag of fertilizer and there is no shield to keep it from coming back and spraying you. The shield is an easy fix but I feel it was false advertising.

First, this is a spreader designed for light weight material. If you're planning on spreading rock salt or other large material look elsewhere. Stop looking for a spreader with a $200 price point and up your game to $1K+ spreaders.Second, my application required a spreader for a John Deere Zero Turn Mower, not an ATV. This spreader met that requirement. There are spreaders specifically designed for zero turn mowers with a price point around $1.5K+.Third, my application required several modifications to the zero turn mower not the spreader although I did change the hardware for mounting the spreader to the handles.More to come.

I thought that it works well enough for my needs. Fertilizing and seeding some acreage for the local wildlife. I recommend a better clamping system though and I went to a hardware to retrieve a couple of pipe clamps to further solidify the mounting. Get some extra fuses as mine blew a fuse after a couple of hours of use.

Dont see how this could fit 80lbs of seed or fertilizer or salt the plastic tank bately fits 25lbs of seed

Unbeatable spreader for the price my only complaint is that there is no guard protecting the spreader I have went through several spreader due to them hitting the door on my enclosed trailer and breaking out the bottom of the spreader wish there was some kind of guard there to protect it but other than that they hold up to very very heavy use for food plots and landscaping business i usually run mine about 500 hours a season with out any problems the gate measurement is a little primitive but as long as you do your homework ahead of time it works just fine almost no draw on my ATV battaries
