Arrived with no instructions manual. I went to the manufacturer’s site and they don’t even have this product (GSHR9701) listed anymore. Tried looking up videos but none are for this model. Amazon’s customer support is completely circular and got me nowhere. Looks like a cool product, I should be able to figure it out, but irritated none the less.

I got this wondering how useful it would be, and it turned out that it really did help organize some of the guitar stuff in my studio. Another review mentioned the size of the shelves, and for me they're fine. I have a tiny Positive Grid Spark amp sitting on top of mine, which still gives a little room on that shelf for picks and smaller items. You probably won't be able to fit a lot of smaller amps on it, but if you have something that fits in a square foot or so you should be fine.It seems to be pretty sturdy and I don't worry about it damaging my guitars. It looks pretty food, and is a nice compact size which helps maximize storage.

Edit on my previous review thanks to the excellent customer service. They reached out to within 2 days of my review to help with the product. I wanted to write another review because it is a rare thing to have a company back up the quality of their product these days.I am happy to report that the stand has been great for my daughter’s room after several weeks of consistent use. This teen plays music every day! We are impressed that the stand is so sturdy. We have owned several well rated (individual) stands that have broken. This stand was perfect because it holds so many guitars securely AND amps! Extra points because it even fit the larger bass amp.Original reviewProduct arrived with the holes on the bottom shelf missing. We were able to drill the 4 holes ourselves to make the stand work. It it is otherwise a great stand. Very sturdy and offers nice organization for the guitar musician.

Being a musician with a large collection of pretty cool instruments comes with some challenges. One of the problems is the safe storage and display of the instruments in a convenient and accessible way. This stand really was helpful in moving me in that general direction, but not without certain deficiencies.First, on the plus side: I like that it holds multiple instruments, is nicely padded and has shelving for storing accessories. The item was well-packaged and had extra screws included, which is better than too few. Assembly was straightforward – mostly.Unfortunately, there were some problems with the product. Although spaces are provided for 7 instruments, the stand is not actually wide enough to accommodate that many instruments if they are all acoustic. My collection includes one solid-bodied electric guitar, but I could still only squeeze 5 instruments into the stand. Fortunately, I have another similar stand to use for the overflow. Now about the manufacturing defect, which complicated the process of assembly. It’s a little hard to describe, but the rack goes together by sliding narrow tubing with threaded holes into wider tubing with larger holes that are supposed to align with the threaded holes. Allen bolts are then used to secure the two parts together (very securely, I might add). All of the holes were aligned correctly except one set shown in the middle three pictures. With these two parts the threaded hole was on the front of one piece and the hole it was supposed to align with was on the back of the other piece. I had to drill a new hole in the front of the second piece to align with the threaded hole, which could not be moved. This means that the Allen bolt-head ended up jutting out of the front of the stand, where it has the potential to mar the neck of one of the instruments stored there. I will have to cover that with something to keep that from happening. So, generally speaking, I am glad that I have this stand. However, I am a little disappointed with the total execution of the design. This is a really solid 3-star unit in my opinion.

This is where I keep my most important morning accessories. Not the alarm not the fan, but the normally four guitars that sit upon this stand so gracefully and with care.It was a breeze to put together. I did it by myself in about 20-25 minutes. Instructions were very clear and they had the little bags of screws labeled with a number that coincided with the number on the manual. What an ingenious methodology. So if IKEA would get a one star rating for a pre-assemble toaster biscuits five stars just based on the installation, simplicity alone. We’re just returning to the downstairs bedroom after a flood and rebuild so it’s very nice to have the kind of room that my guitar is spread out and I actually get a bedside table. The price is very reasonable considering its form and functionality are top notch. Would I have liked a drawer to hide my shames? sure but I don’t think this is meant to be a bedside table either so it’s no fault of the manufacturer.I even have a turntable that I plan on putting on the second shelf. The build of material seems to be of an excellent quality. It’s not just fiber board and partially glued sticks. This is metal and a nice fat slab of wood for each shelf. For the money, absolutely worth it for the space it’s saved in the less wear and tear on my guitars. Priceless. Well done five stars

I have 4 of my guitars on this along with my Xbox and a couple other items. I didn't need to wall mount it but they send the hardware in case you chose to

Edit Jan 4th 2025: Worked with the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit. Very happy with the guitar stand and the manufacturer. They were quick to respond and quick to address the issue. Changed to 5 stars. Both of the part #11 pieces needed to attach the top shelf were not included in the package. Unable to attach the top shelf.
