really good strong thread I use it for embroidery on card and it doesn't fray or spilt super rich deep colour too

I use mostly Gutermann & Mettler threads for several reasons:- Produces far less lint than many other thread brands (especially Coats & Clark)- This cotton quilting thread is smooth, and does not twist and curl when hand-sewing as I have experienced with others.- Does not have much breakage as I have experienced with other brands.- Wax finish helps thread to glide smoothly through layers of fabric & quilt batting more easily than other brands I have experienced.- Nice 40wt, slightly heavier/thicker than the average 50wt cotton thread from Gutermann.Really love using this thread when I hand quilt (which is often). Beautiful rich red color with nice sheen.
