I’ve always been nervous about cleaning my gutters, especially without a sturdy ladder. This tool is amazing! It extends easily up to 16 feet and I can clean my second-story gutters from the ground. The adjustable water flow makes it even better. No more dangerous ladder climbing for me!

So the item does reach to the height described, however, at the level, the joints leak and its is very unstable to use.

When I pulled it out of the box I was impressed. It was very sturdy, and for the most part was aluminum instead of plastic. The extension lock, although plastic, was built and click locked into place. They included a whole slew of extra seals, should you need them and a small roll of teflon pipe tape. A wrench is included to install the front nozzle, the nozzle is twistable by hand so no other tools are needed. The first problem I encountered was that the shut off valve would not match my hose. I tried holding my tongue every way I could, but no dice. The odd thing is I have two hoses, one with brass ends and one with aluminum ends (the long hoes I use) and all of my other spray nozzles will fit on the the brass AND they will fit on the aluminum ends. Now get this, all of the other spray tools will also fit on the supplied shut off valve ??????? The only thing I can think of is that the shut off valve (incl. w/) is so tight and the aluminum has very little taper that they just wont mate. Blame that on the hose or blame that on the tool? but it's there. With one swing and a miss I decide to keep going. I screwed the hose directly into the pipe (and it fit, must be the shut off valves fault in the mating) and hope I didn't get soaked trying to get it in place. When came back to the front of the house (spigot is in the back) the water, of course, was coming out of the tip only, so there didn't appear to be any leaks without being under retained pressure anyway. I also noticed there wasn't much pressure at all. This didn't make any sense, it was going from straight line pressure then getting reduced twice, then out of an adjustable nozzle, and there is no more pressure than a hand nozzle. I've had ones before that would push back like a rocket, Strike two. When I did put it up to my first floor gutter, with a position of a upside down U and the end bent like a backward L, I got about two minutes of use out of it before the end started spinning like a kids pinwheel. I thought at first that maybe I hadn't tightened the end or it had worked loose, but no, just junk. The junction between the end that is threaded to the pole for the bendable nozzle is not attached firmly enough to keep it from spinning in circles. I may be able to fix it with hose clamps BUT OUT OF THE BOX. Strike three,YOU'RE OUT!!!What would have happened if the end had come off while I wanted to clean my windows, who would pay then, oh wait, there wasn't enough pressure to break a window. Don't waste your time or money.
