A great tool when used properly. Radius seems accurate. Learn the correct way to use the tool, be cognisant of how much every area is getting sanded, don't just "scrub" back and forth in one area. Starting at the nut going one direction toward the guitar body, picking it up and again from the nut to body with one even stroke. Don't tip to the edge of the board or round over the fret edges that need to be there to support the fret wire. It's a quality tool that has a nice weight so that you can just let the weight of the tool do the work without applying more pressure.

I have two of these in different radii. Both are well made and work well. They're not exactly the same width though. I made a jig to run the block in a track to keep my radius straight and consistent. Fit perfectly to the first block but the second one was just ever so slightly wider than the first. Not at all an issue if you're simply sanding free hand. In the end I sanded the larger one just a tad and it fit perfectly. Aside from that I have zero complaints.

Nicely made. Both sides good and a great choice for each side. It has extra supports inside that make it extra sturdy compared to other similar products.

I have finished four acoustic guitar fretboards using this product and the radii are very consistent. If I were to suggest a change, it could be longer but it does work well as it is.

This radius block is made from good aluminum and can be used to either sand the fret board or press in and hold frets for gluing using a clamp. The finish is rough which holds paper well and I like that it has two different radius's

I've used this tool for my strat's and tele's and it takes any guess work out of the process to insure leveled frets. Very happy with this tool.

i must say, i'm quite impressed with this block. as i primarily use either philadelphia luthier tools, or stewmac items, i'm impressed with the precision of this block. of note, there are key features which are worthy of reviewing.1. substantial weight- the weight of this item allows for accurate movement when utilizing/leveling. it's noticeable as soon as you receive the item (as i was immediately impressed before opening the amazon packaging..with the weight, in and of itself).2. thick, heavy duty aluminum- this block has heft, which, then allows for a smoother action when stroking the fretboard, or tops of frets for leveling purposes. this is a useful feature.3. comfort on the hand(s)- as the aluminum is of high quality, the comfort in holding/handling provides for a more accurate completion/job.as i primarily play ESP, or LTD guitars, the majority are either 12", or 14" radius. and, although i'm not an actual schooled luthier, i prefer working on my instruments myself (such as pickup installations/i use EMG exlusively, hardware upgrades, minor routing, nut replacement). as i have leveled and crowned 3 necks/fretboards, i'm comfortable performing fret leveling...whether being spot leveling and crowning, or full-on fretboard frets in their entirety. as such, this block is ideal. especially once you're comfortable with leveling/crowning (even at a beginner, or amateur level).i bought two sets of guyker tuners (in the past), and, although they are not what i nearly exclusively use (gotoh), i am impressed with the quality of the tuners, as well. therefore, it was an easy decision to purchase this sanding block.this is an excellent tool, and i have many necks that just need a "touch-up." in combination with my hosco files, and a handful of Sharpies (ha), this tool will save time, and provide precise outcomes.
