Dear Lord - you could turn the thing sideways and fit your LPs in there (which is what I ended up doing), but...the demonstration picture (which I suppose I could/should have blown up and studied before being seduced by the reasonable price) shows that this is FAR too narrow a fit for vinyl albums. They are getting SQUEEZED beyond what is remotely healthy for disc, jacket, or both.The idea that you could - technically - SQUEEZE your records in there and PRY them out may give the existing sales pitch a certain "See? They fit!" outside veracity, but...come on, man.

Very cute and fits my records perfectly but the bottom slat is a little too big for all side pieces to fit flush :(

Any record that’s sleeved will not fit in this box, the only way is to not fully screw In the sides or use some sort of spacer but even then it’s still a tight fit

This is a great record storage crate. Each piece is lovely. It's well crafted, each side feels sturdy, and it's got one of the thickest and strongest bottom boards I've seen in a crate of this design. It was easy to assemble and it looks fantastic. I'm pleased with the quality of the materials, the storage volume, and how it looks.

I needed a nice looking basket for keeping things put away in our living room, so we ended up getting this. I do not use it for records, so I cannot say whether or not it fits them, however, based on average record size with the sleeve/jacket, they should fit just fine. It was very quick and easy to put together and looks very nice with our rustic/farmhouse decor. It is pretty large and fits quite a bit of stuff inside. We put extra blankets and diapers in it mostly, and it makes the living room look less cluttered. A really nice addition to our home!

Was all busted when i got it. I had to go buy and use wood glue to fix it. The bottom corner was broken as well. KRAP..

Despite the inaccurate measurements here, the width of this crate is slightly short of 12" on the inside. So it is not possible to use it for record storage unless you leave the screws extremely loose (resulting in a very visible gap and little structural integrity. It's a pretty crate for other stuff, but not for 12" records. And if you did succeed in shoving them in, you'd substantially damage your records. If you're a vinyl collector, do not purchase this crate.
