Each halter is made of over 16 feet of 100% nylon web, double sewn and triple-thick. Its 100% nylon thread is sewn in a diamond tack design to give the halter form and rigidity for a superior fit. It is dramatically stronger than stitching in a single line or with a conventional bar tack. Five solid brass eyelets attached in burn holes give the halter a double wall of protection against eyelet fray. The three double-welded rings, two custom stress point squares and one double bar head buckle are designed to sit much flatter on the horse's head and eliminate any contact irritation. The 1D Halters and Arabian Halters come with a solid brass tip which makes buckling easier than ever before. It also gives the distinctive look that makes it a Hamilton Halter. I've bought several Hamilton haters and collars and have never had a problem before. After two weeks of using this halter, the nylon Is frayed around the pin hole and the pin on the buckle is broken. Complete junk.

Very happy with my new halters. They are well made and will hold a horse without breaking easily. Strong buckles and no cheep snaps make it easy to size to my horse's head. Even my Ferrier was excited to see the quality and now she is going to get some.

Nice enough, but why make a halter that only has some of the fittings brass and the others not? It's now rusting and I bought this halter because of the emphasis on the brass ("solid") fittings ! Very disappointed!

A bit stiff but very sturdy. Hardware is good quality, and it looks great on my horse. I ordered the navy blue and it is a bit lighter than usual, but definitely navy. Overall I am happy with this halter.

Purchased this for my yearling QH colt. The quality is great, definitely a strong halter. Only negative is that I wish the colors offered included a royal blue. This blue is very muted.
