The Special Effect is designed to help bring your game to the next level, adding a polished solid coverstock to the High Performance category for Hammer. The Special Effect uses the HK22 base coverstock with the Cohesion additive. Cohesion is the additive that made the Effect so special and the reaction the Special Effect brings is indeed SPECIAL.

The Special Effect has the same engine that made the original Effect so good. The Huntsman asymmetrical core brings the heat with a low RG and high differential designed for big track flare and lots of pop going through the pin deck. The pin carry provided by the Special Effect is something that will leave you and your opponents saying "wow".

This is now one of my main balls that I use. Combined with the Mania ball, the special effects ball is definitely a go to ball.

The new Hammer Effect line is by far the newest and hottest ball line produced in years. The Hammer Effect changed the game as to how pearlized balls can react in oil. The Hammer Effect Tour took the original Hammer Effect and put a solid coverstock on it and created a new ball shape not seen from a solid bowling balls in recent years. Now, Hammer has introduced the newest innovation in the Effect line, the Hammer Special Effect! The new Special Effect has the successful new Huntsman core wrapped in the HK22-Cohesion solid coverstock with a factory compound which delivers an exceptional mid-lane motion and an aggressive change of direction off the spot. The Special Effect compliments the original Hammer Effect by providing a cleaner ball motion through the front parts of the lane, with a stronger continuous ball motion through the pins with incredible hitting power. I absolutely love the Hammer Special Effect and now I have all three Hammer Effect line balls in my bag, because of their versatility and predictability on both oily and medium lane conditions. Keep believing the hype about the Hammer Effect line because these balls are just simply amazing.
