It looks okay but it is very light so when my rat gets on it the whole thing tips over. If I hold it down it works well but I would suggest buying a better quality one

The only thing it really has going for it is the fact that its quiet. The base is too lightweight in my opinion. My pet rats are on the medium, chunky size and they don’t feel stable when they try to move beyond a slow walk. It also easily slides around. I think this could work for hamsters, small lizards, young rats, or other smaller pets. It is easy to clean and the diameter is nice and big. With some adjustments, such as zip tying the plastic base to something more sturdy, it can be used for larger rats

I got the largest size wheel because our gerbil seemed big enough to warrant it. However, this doesn't spin so freely that she can move that wheel from a stop in such a way that she gets the rhythm of it. Rather, she piles chips into it and makes it a raised bed area. So... It looks great and is made well, but make sure your pet is the right size for your selected wheel. This is actually the third time we've tried this orientation of wheel with no success with this gerbil in 2 years. It's probably just not her thing, but the device itself is as represented and I would buy another one for another pet or as a gift/donation.

I bought the large wheel for my hamster. It’s not the most sturdy but I was able to put cloth under/around it and my hamster is able to enjoy it. I use it for when he is outside in his playpen and he’s been running marathons on it.
