Reworking furniture I often run into nasty narrow areas if you’re going to get the piece right. This does great. I wish it had a triangular nose of the paper holding tool hit those really tight corners. The paper last a good long while. I was able to cover a large area per piece. I bought a second set with a different grit.

A lot of my 3d prints need some sanding to get off plastic blobs and to smooth out imperfections. Since the prints are relatively small, the sanding blocks that I use for woodworking are usually too big, and I end up wrapping sandpaper around a finger or a pencil, or folding sandpaper into a rigid square, etc. So, I wondered if this would be a better solution to some of my sanding problems.Things I like: it has a slightly soft bendy grip that's comfortable. Also, the sanding surface is flexible, which works pretty well on curvy surfaces. The 1" width works well for a lot of my sanding needs, but it's still too large for really fine work; I wish they also sold a 1/2" version. The hook-and-loop system that holds the sandpaper onto the sanding block is good and firm - the sandpaper won't come off until you want it too. I got the block with120 grit sandpaper, which works fine. I see they also sell grits from 40 up to 600 so I will probably buy another one with a finer grit like maybe 240. The 20 foot roll of sandpaper will last me a long time, and it's easy to cut off small chunks for some detail sanding not using the sanding block. I really don't have any negative things to say at this point. I like it.

I have been woodworking for over 30 years, and the first time I used this little tool to help with hand sanding in a corner, I wished I had had it a long time ago. It is small enough that it can help you get into many little corners and spaces, yet large and soft enough that it saves your fingers from some hand cramping work. Of course, it won't work for all hand sanding applications, but it sure beats my previous methods when it does reach. I have used doubled over sandpaper to get into corners for years, and I feel like this little tool would have saved me from lots of past agony. It is a highly recommended little tool to add to your stable!
