Opened the box and noticed everything was covered in a white dust. I made the mistake of blowing it off with air than wiping it down. The white stuff went everywhere and then I realized it makes me itch like fiberglass. Now I am vacuuming and wiping down my whole work area and washing everything I was wearing. Only assembled and used the tool for minutes until I had to stop because of my reaction to the white granules/dust. Tool does work good, very heavy and motor sounds good, wheel is a little out of round but should wear in. hopefully the dust will clean up and hopefully it did not get into the internals / bearings of the tool. Tried using it again after 1st cleaning and i am itching right where my sleeves stop at my wrist. Will bring all the conditioning wheels outside and blow them clean . Tried to find a way to contact seller directly but could only get Amazons chat robot that couldn't help.**** Update***** The seller reached out to me and they are taking care of the problem. Great customer service !!!

This is working perfectly for what I needed it for. I am using it to redo and John Deere brush cutter. So far very happy with it.

I went with this one over the harbor freight because it was a little cheaper and came with 4 drums instead of the 3 that come with the harbor freight. The first thing I noticed is the drums are not marked as to grit and it is harder to tell the 60 grit from the 120 grit than I thought it would be. The harbor freight comes with a 40 grit which appears to be much more aggressive than I got from the 60 grit. I checked the prices of some of the Harbor Freight discs and they were only around $15 so my thought was that there wouldn't be much difference between a 60 grid and a 40 grit so I would just pick up a 40 grit if I thought I needed it but the Harbor Freight 40 Grit is $35. I would just go with the with the Harbor Freight model if I could do it over again.

I bought this tool along with a wire brush in order to bring the wood grain out in some faux ceiling beams I am still building. Works great but I also plan the use it to sand some metal Perkins prior to painting. I imagine there are multiple uses I willl find.

So I saw this on a Youtube show I watch and thought it was perfect for prepping Hardie siding for paint and it was. It is also great for stripping pealing paint from clapboard and leaves a clean lightly scratched surface for paint to adhere.
