I find this thing really handy to keep around the house, but it's even better for traveling, especially if you have as many wardrobe malfunctions as I do or as my kids do this. could also be quite the little lifesaver if you are camping and you get a hole in your tent or if you're going to a special event like an anniversary dinner or a wedding and someone's hem comes loose as the very worst time or they pop a seam.I mean, the uses for this thing are actually pretty much endless when it comes to not only mending things, but you can create things as well. I whipped up a pillowcase from some extra fabric I had lying around in just a manner of minutes because it's quite easy and fast to do a simple stitch like that. I also made a bandana for one of my nephews plushy dolls out of an old T shirt that he had laying around.

The Handheld Sewing Machine is very practical, compact, and portable. It's easy to carry around, so I can take it anywhere. Operating it is straightforward, and it's convenient for simple sewing repairs and alterations. My daughter wants me to make some clothes for her dolls, and this machine is perfect for that. The seller also included some small tools and threads, so I started using it right away. It's an efficient and practical tool that reduces the effort of manual clothing alterations for me. The sewing machine weighs little and it includes a few but practical accessories. I read the instructions and I don't think I have to read them again. The machine is a child’s play to operate. I think children can sew with it, too. It took me little practice to get the hang of it.I can use 4 AA batteries or the included white USB-C cable. I think AA batteries is a waste if it can work with an USB-C cable. But I replaced the included cable with a longer, 6 ft long one so I can use the handheld sewing machine more freely.The switch is on the top and I push it forward to 1, slow speed, or 2, fast speed. Either speed is not too fast for me to handle.It’s not loud but I laughed when I heard the operating sound the first time. Its a bit on the higher note and sounds like a small animal whining.My machine already had a bobbin set up and a white thread ready. It allows me to do repairs in a fraction of time compared to sewing by hand.

I ordered this sewing machine from Amazon Vine, and I could use it by connecting it to the USB cord and plugging it into the power outlet, as well as by placing four AA batteries inside, and I can say that it wasn’t that difficult to use, but I did have to follow the instructions step by step quite a few times because my very first time using it, my performance was not very successful.So, from my personal experience it will only become simple to operate after I get used to it, which isn’t my case yet, because I still follow the instructions every time that I use my mini sewing machine. However, I can confirm that it is quite versatile because I have been using mine to fix little holes and sewing threads that are coming off my clothes.But it is as far as I go, I use my handheld sewing machine solely to do little repairs, I haven’t been using it every day, and I definitely don’t go out of my way to buy pieces of fabrics and start making my own clothes at all, not even in my dreams.Now one thing I must admit, this mini sewing machine has a good quality, it is lightweight, quite comfortable to hold, and convenient since I don’t need to get out of my house to do some simple fixing from time to time. Plus, I have been saving a little by doing simple and quick fixes myself instead of taking my clothes to the repair shop. Therefore, I am quite pleased with this handheld sewing machine.

This is a great beginner's sewing machine for small tasks. It is quite comfortable to hold in my hand and is easy to operate. It comes with a white colored thread spool attached on it. It also came with a bundle of safety pins, a needle, a measuring tape and more tools with it. It can be operated either using AA batteries or via a USB cable which makes it quite versatile and easy to take it on the go and use it while traveling. It does offer two speeds - a slower speed, and a faster speed which provides for a strong sewing bond. I am impressed by this machine.

I got this to use as a quick solution for some repairs and have tried using this in several situations. Operation is not hard and it works good when needing to quickly stitch up a seam or him. You can operate the unit with one hand and its versatile enough you can make simple curves and other adjustments while its running after just a little experience with it. I have used it on both thin and thicker materials with no problems. I also really like the ability to run off batteries or via USB with the switch of a button. A very basic but useful tool I would highly recommend.
