The pieces interlock together with female/male connections that snap and lock into place to hold them together. With minimal force, after they are broken in, they can be separated to allow easy access to your bag, toolbag, military A bag, 5 gallon bucket, or any bag with a strap handle. Why you need it: 1) To replace the worn out handle of your favorite bag(s) without great cost 2) To prevent wear and tear of your bag handles 3) To provide a solid, ergonomic carrying bar in lieu of traditional fabric handles The Handlebar will allow you to continue using your bag, even if the handles become worn out and unsightly. With an otherwise serviceable bag with bad handles, this product allows you to extend the life of the bag without great expense (or better, prevent wear-and-tear before it happens!) Many find a solid handle more comfortable and ergonomic than a fabric handle, as it does not dig into your hand like flexible materials do.
