The stone of the bowl is absolutely beautiful and easy to clean. I am not the best at getting rid of ashes right away, so this size holds it until I can get around to it. The multiple holders are also very nice and give you options. Definitely worth the money, and would buy again.

As soon a I pulled the marble base from the box, I was thrilled with the quality of the marble base, and supporting pieces. The marble bowl is GORGEOUS, and crafted from a beautiful piece of marble. The bowl is heavy, and provides a thick and wonderful base for your incense sticks or/or smudge sticks. The metal lotus flower is a lovely addition, and provides both a beautiful and practical base. The set even comes with a protective felt pad for the base, as well. I would not hesitate to gift this item to family members, and am so pleased to add this beautiful incense holder to our home!

I'll admit that I never intended to use this as an incense burner--there are too many folks in this household allergic to incense. I just needed a small marble bowl, and this one works perfectly for that. I can't comment on the incense paraphernalia, then, but as a marble bowl this is terrific. It's solid marble, not molded or manufactured marble product. I'll probably put some felt on the bottom to stop it scratching a wood table, but this little bowl is the real deal.
