Sizing is truly a large as it is perfect for my 36 inch wasit.This is truly a high rise breif. Buy this if you are tired of these medium rise briefs.

These briefs are advertised as the Hanes ultimate classics, which is an older model that is reasonably hard to find. The success of getting these from Amazon seems to be seller dependent. The Blank Apparel seller has the correct item (photos attached).For the product itself, the briefs are great. They have a higher rise than the current Hanes. I like the bold font on the waistband. They keep their shape throughout the day. Love my Hanes Classics!

As advertised, they're a classic pair of Hanes full rise tightie whities. A staple in every man's wardrobe for decades.

Have bought these for my husband since 30 years. It is a very good fit,especially for a shorter,light body size and weight. However, now that these come three at a time, it is no longer possible to exclusively buy the 100% cotton ( the light heather are 25% polyester). They also seem to be thinner then before and wear out sooner. I am contemplating a different style and make,but have not found such a good fit yet in any other brand. I have been a loyal Hanes under wear shopper for decades, and still like the basic women,s styles and quality,but might drop the men,s styles due to the above in the near future.

Hanes makes other, pricier briefs with thicker, higher-quality fabric than this particular model (I have several), but the selling points for these are that they're inexpensive, they're not white, the fit is very comfortable, and they're Hanes. I assume they'll hold up like my other Hanes, which means after several years of repeated washings, they'll eventually develop some thread failure (everything put together sooner or later falls apart), but you'll want to buy more Hanes because you like them. I notice these are made in Vietnam. We used to drop napalm on them, and now they're making our underwear. Insert your own joke here.

I ordered three sets of these Hanes Classics 3 Pkg Briefs on Nov 27, 2011. When first received I was short one pkg. After contacting UnderMoments (Seller), I was promptly sent the additional pkg. Since I had been wearing this for many years, I thought they would be O.K. Since I didn't need them right away, I put them in my closet until needed. Several months later, when needed,upon openning I was suprized to find several of them full of holes, as if some moths had eaten them - probably during shipping from China! I ended up throwing out half of my order as it was too late to request a refund or replacement and they were unwearable. I had ordered these same briefs previously from Amazon with no problem but that order was filled by Amazon and not some market or fulfillment company, like this order. CAUTION: If you order these or any other clothes, etc, be sure to check them out before the expiration date expires for any type of correction. Don't assume that they will be in working order - especially given the large number of poor quality products now being made. We can no longer 'assume' that because it is NEW is will be in GOOD SHAPE! (I guess that doesn't apply to 'jean's', as some people for some reason find THESE ACCEPTABLE! Go Figure. I used to be so embarrassed when I was younger and forced to wear these because of the lack of money to buy new ones!) Even today, I do NOT like my jeans that way and I certainly don't like holes in my underwear!

I'm 49 years old and have been wearing HANES Full Rise Briefs since I entered the military in 1980! The assorted colored packs are much better than the plain white. I have tried other briefs, but NOTHING can compete with HANES! I wear them proudly, just like Michael Jordan! I highly recommend these briefs! They are made of quality 100% cotton with a nylon waistband (I think it's nylon). They wash wonderfully, and last a long time.

I purchased 3 types of briefs when I purchased these. 1 5-pack of Fruit of the Loom regular, 1 3-pack of Fruit of the Loom Rugged and a 3-pack of these Hanes. I wanted to be sure that I could find briefs that were truly high quality, were really the right "high-rise" and fit well and were comfortable. These Hanes briefs were the winner! They are extremely comfortable, the best quality material and the rise was just what it should be. I'm a size 36 waist and the nice thing about the Hanes is that they measure in 36-38" for the Large size. The FOTL briefs are either Medium 34-36", which is too small and too tight for a 36" waist or Large 38-40", which is just too big and loose. Hanes has it right for us 36" waist guys that find 38" is just a bit too big when buying pants, etc. Great, great comfort and super briefs. Also, a great waistband and the tag is actually in the back, unlike some other Hanes I bought a Wal-Mart that had the tag on the side and just some printing on the back. This tag thing is important because it is what we are used to and feel for when putting them on. They comfortably hold all my stuff!
