I am very concerned about the workmanship of the STS garage. I had good prior experience ordering tires from Amazon, so again I ordered 3 tires on Amazon and proceed to select the nearest garage. I arrived at the garage’s reception at 9 am, the old man with the glasses saw me but ignored me and continue talking with a co-worker. When he finished, he turned to his computer, but the other guy, John, greeted me. At a later time, I saw the old man with glasses greet another customer right away while continuing to ignore me. I am pretty sure this is the first time we met. Since I have to replace the tires, so I have them check the brakes. After inspections, John recommended I replace the rear brakes. He checked and confirmed the parts are available, and I inquired and ok with the amount of additional time it would take to replace the brakes. After two and a half hours, John told me they couldn’t get all the parts until Monday. I was unhappy about the last-minute news, and I told him I will come back next Thursday to finish the brakes. When I got to my car back, the air cap is missing from the new tires. One piece of advice when the garage returns your car be sure to check and ask about the works. John found the air caps and put them on, and he told me that he asked another mechanic who originally didn’t work on my car to quickly finish it. When I drove my car away, all three new tires are 15% under pressure. My immediate concern now has this mechanic securely fastens the tires. I have watched this mechanic do a professional job on another car but not sure why he missed everything on mine. Because of these concerns, I will NOT come back to this garage and proceed to cancel my brake work. I cannot afford to have poor-quality work done on my car and then ended up stranded on the road.
