This product appears to be a great idea but it is so flimsy that it did not survive even being delivered in a simple paper envelope. BIG SURPRISE! I straightened it out and tested it but it was too flimsy to cut a very soft watermelon in a usable fashion!

The idea is good but this product does not maintain it’s shape when cutting. The metal is thin and the cuts are not consistent. If the metal were steel, it would probably work better.

The tool bends on first use. Metal is only .02 thick.Great Idea! But, Metal needs to be at least TWICE that thick to maybe be useful!

What the product description doesn't tell you is that the end piece that keeps the rails apart is NOT solid. It's a wimpy little piece of metal that doesn't keep the blades separated at a consistent distance. Not worth buying.
